Bob Smietana of The Tennessean has written an article about Mercy Ministries.
“Mercy Ministries Australia ran two homes for young women with eating disorders and other problems. The program was supposed to be free. But residents were forced to sign over their government assistance checks. Mercy also promised psychological care but failed to deliver.”

My daughter is at Mercy right now, in the USA. She is not and was not forced to hand over her government assistance checks. Also, although Mercy is a very Christian facility, my daughter has been taken to a medical doctor for check ups and is continuing on her medications including her psych. meds. Mercy never promised my daughter any psychological care. Also, my daughter was in and out of many mental health facilities promising great psych care before going to Mercy WITH NO SUCCESS for her problems. Perhaps my daughter is just one girl that Mercy is helping but you, the reader, need to know the facts.
